Studio+

Studio+ is a programme for ambitious makers without the desire for a degree. Our evening programme offers emerging or experienced artists, designers, alumni, and creative professionals the time, space, and environment to work on their own practice. You do not need to follow a full degree programme again to develop your artistic practice further. For a minimum of two and a maximum of eight semesters, you work in the studios and specialized workshops of AKI ArtEZ. You make, investigate, and experiment. You are mentored by artists, designers, and lecturers, and exchange ideas and work with other makers. No degree. No entrance exam. Genuine room for development.

What You Do

Studio+ has no fixed study programme. You decide yourself what you want to develop in and how much room you dedicate to research, deepening, and experimentation. Do you already have a clear artistic practice and wish to focus entirely on painting, for example? That is possible. Or do you want to explore different disciplines and techniques and investigate where your own artistic possibilities lie? That is possible too. You work on an individual study programme, tailored to your experience, interests, and ambitions. A diverse team of artists, designers, lecturers, and instructors provides mentoring and deepening.

Studio & Experiment

Work on your own artistic practice within the environment of an art academy. Investigate new ideas, materials, techniques, and ways of working.

Workshops & Community

Based on your ambitions and interests, you work from a studio setting in workshops and in direct exchange with fellow students and lecturers.

Contact & Coaching

Discuss your work, ideas, and research with other makers. Develop your work with guidance from experienced artists, designers, and makers.
